Great Hair
As you toss and turn at night, friction between your hair and a regular cotton pillowcase can damage the hair leading to less shine and more frizz. Silk lets your hair glide over the fabric, there's less friction, and you wake up minus the crazy morning hair.
Great Skin
Silk is also less absorbent than cotton. Cotton will absorb the dirt and oil from your hair and skin and sleeping on the same cotton pillowcase every night can lead to clogged pores and breakouts. Because silk is less absorbent, it won't pick up the dirt and oils from your hair and skin - it also won't absorb your expensive creams and conditioners so they stay on your skin and hair where they belong.

Hypoallergenic
The added bonus, silk is great for allergy sufferers as silk fibers have a natural resistance to dust mites and other allergens.
Mulberry & Momme
Silk is a 100% natural material made from the raw silk produced by mulberry silk worms. These silk worms eat a diet solely of leaves from the mulberry tree which makes the silk they produce naturally white, stronger and shinier than other forms of silk.
Since silk is measured in "momme" or "mm", there's no need to count threads! Momme refers to the weight of the silk and is calculated in pounds when weighing 100 yards of material that is 45 inches wide. Our silk pillowcases are all 22mm which means that 100 yards of our fabric weighs 22 pounds.
